MVP Race

This year's NBA MVP race has been very intriguing. LeBron James is a triple-threat every night. While leading his team to the best record in the east, and perhaps the league. Kobe Bryant is Kobe Bryant, on a mission to the Finals, and is the reigning MVP. The underdog happens to be the smallest player of the bunch. Dwayne Wade has lead a team full, of average to below average players to the playoffs. Not to mention the ungodly amount of points he is putting up a game.(29.7ppg)

With that all being said, I believe LeBron will hoist the trophy. The Cavs are only one game behind(51-13) the leagues best Lakers(52-13). The thing is LeBron has less talent to work with. Kobe has a fellow all- star in Pau Gasol, upcoming center Andrew Bynum, and a bench full of the likes of Lamar Odom, Trevor Ariza, and Jordan Farmar.

LeBron has Mo Williams, who is an all -star. Delonte West is an undersized 2 guard who over achieves. Zydrunas Ilgauskas is getting old, Ben Wallace is old, and so is Joe Smith. LeBron has to do a lot for the team to be competitive.

If LeBron got hurt the Cavs would be a lottery team. If the Lakers lost Kobe to injury. The Lakers still have enough fire power to get into the playoffs.

Which to me makes LeBron the MVP. Wade's argument for MVP is compelling. But LeBron has been doing it, all season long.

Who do you thing should be MVP?
